Weekend in Review | Sunshine and Storms + Wedding!

Hope your weekend was great! Our weekend was a fun one!

Friday:

Around 10am – I dropped Mya off with her Rover sitter. She took right off and it seemed like she was ready for the weekend! I then decided to make a split decision to get a pedicure. There is a place not too far from the house and between ours and the Rover person’s house. It opened at 10 and I think I was there at 10:10 am. Perfect timing! After I ran some errands to get things ready for heading up to Breezy Point for a friend’s wedding. We got up to Brainerd around 7, ate at Zorbaz and then made our way to the resort.

The rest of the night was just us catching up with everyone and then heading to bed!

Saturday:

Neither Bill, me or our friend’s wife were in the wedding so we hung out for most of the morning, enjoying the lovely weather.

The wedding was at 4 pm and the sun came out just in time!

The wedding was a great time and I can honestly say I spent some good time on the dance floor! It was so good to see everyone and celebrate! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Blundell! <3 you both!

Sunday:

We woke up and started heading back. On our way, we got a message from Bill’s mom saying they were getting hailed on and they were about the size of ping pong balls. Good thing we park our vehicles in the garage! The storm was over by the time we got home but you could see the damage all around. The amount of hail on the ground looked like it snowed in June! There were also full grown trees that were completely uprooted and flipped on their side. It was crazy. Turns out we do have some damage on our siding and possibly our roof. We have some people from our insurance coming out to take a look and let us know what the damage is.

Hopefully we hear some news on our damage this week so we know what to expect!

Hope you have a great week!

Linking up with Biana!
